**Surgical Technologist**
The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team by preparing the surgical environment, maintaining sterility, and assisting during operations. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting instruments, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to Joint Commission standards. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED in addition to a certificate or associate’s degree from an accredited surgical technology program. Current certification (CST, TS-C, or CSFA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory, along with a minimum of one year of pertinent experience.
