Job Summary
The Paramedic plays a crucial role in delivering advanced life support services in pre-hospital environments. This professional is tasked with the stabilization of patients, execution of medical procedures, and safe transportation to healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
- Administer advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations.
- Stabilize patients and execute necessary medical interventions.
- Transport patients to the appropriate medical treatment centers.
- Coordinate the activities of personnel present at emergency scenes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
- Ensure all emergency medical equipment is functional and prepared for use.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- National Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification must be obtained.
- A valid State of Alabama EMSP license is necessary.
- Current driver’s license required.
- Certification in Healthcare Provider CPR is mandatory.
