Job Summary
The role of the Paramedic involves delivering prompt and effective medical care and transport for patients across both urgent and routine scenarios. This position ensures the highest standards are met in ambulance hygiene, equipment preparedness, and thorough record-keeping of daily patient care activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical treatment to patients in a variety of situations.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance and all medical equipment.
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Massachusetts Paramedic certification is essential.
- Must possess National Registry Paramedic certification.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an EMT is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift and transport patients weighing over 125 pounds.
