Job Summary
The role of a Paramedic is to deliver prompt and effective medical care, handling both emergency and non-emergency situations. In addition to providing treatment, the Paramedic ensures the upkeep of medical supplies and equipment, oversees record-keeping on a daily basis, and complies with all relevant clinical protocols and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Administer emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation to patients.
- Maintain and manage medical equipment for optimal performance.
- Document patient interactions and medical procedures daily.
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Paramedic Certification.
- National Registry Paramedic Certification.
- Current certifications in ACLS and CPR.
- 1-3 years of experience as an EMT or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform physically strenuous tasks effectively.
