Job description
**Job Title: Paraprofessional**
The Paraprofessional is responsible for delivering tailored academic, behavioral, and daily living assistance to elementary students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role involves working closely with supervising teachers to observe classroom activities, gather data, and execute behavior and health care strategies. Candidates must complete district-sanctioned training in de-escalation techniques and physical restraint and should be capable of performing physical duties, including lifting and providing personal hygiene support. It is essential for applicants to be residents of Colorado and to fulfill specific paraprofessional qualification criteria.
