Job Summary
The Part-Time Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, ensuring that dietary requirements and preferences are met. This role plays a vital part in promoting health and well-being within the facility by supporting the overall nutrition program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines.
- Serve meals to residents in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Monitor and record residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service position is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of nutrition and dietary restrictions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
