Job description
The Dietary Aide plays a crucial role in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals to residents, ensuring that both kitchen and dining spaces remain clean and hygienic. This position also involves support with inventory oversight, cleaning of equipment, and ensuring compliance with departmental food service regulations. Applicants should have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, as well as possess fundamental math skills for activities such as counting trays. A year of experience in a long-term care setting is desirable, and candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
