The Building Engineer plays a key role in the operation, upkeep, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems within the facility. Responsibilities include implementing the Preventive Maintenance program and promoting energy-efficient practices for all building systems. Applicants should possess 3 to 5 years of practical experience in building engineering or commercial facilities maintenance, along with a Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification. A high school diploma or GED is necessary, and candidates with vocational or technical training will be favored.
