Job description
In this position, you will be responsible for creating and integrating structural elements and mechanisms for insect-like robots, progressing from fundamental sizing principles to intricate CAD modeling and prototype evaluation. This role requires you to maintain the structural, thermal, and environmental robustness of machine subsystems, addressing any failures with validated redesign solutions. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, along with experience in the deployment of intricate mechanical assemblies utilizing prominent CAD tools. You will need to exhibit expertise in structural analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and practical hardware testing to troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues.
