Handle and accession surgical, outpatient, and cytologic specimens, including preparing frozen sections and stained slides for rapid pathologist interpretation. Attend imaging-guided and bone marrow procedures to triage and prepare tissue, while ensuring accurate specimen identification, labeling, and documentation. Requires at least one year of related laboratory experience and either a college major in an applicable natural science, two years of natural science coursework plus two years of applicable experience, or equivalent education and laboratory experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong laboratory, analytical, communication, organizational, and specimen-handling skills; cytology, histology, pathology, or clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
