The Patient Access Representative plays a key role in the pre-admission and registration processes for both inpatients and outpatients in the emergency department. This position requires delivering exceptional service to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals while performing tasks both autonomously and collaboratively. Applicants should possess either a high school diploma or a GED, along with 3 to 12 months of experience in a clinical, acute care, or physician’s office environment. Familiarity with medical terminology and a solid command of organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
