Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative plays a crucial role in facilitating the efficient registration of patients. This includes the collection of essential information and the verification of insurance details to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient interviews to gather vital information for registration.
- Verify and confirm insurance details, ensuring accuracy.
- Obtain necessary signatures from patients to complete the registration process.
- Assist with the efficient flow of patients by escorting them to their assigned areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, with an Associate’s or Technical degree being a plus.
- Ability to research health plans thoroughly and follow established guidelines from senior personnel.
