Job Summary
The Patient Care Tech Float plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and support to patients across various departments. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients by assisting nursing staff in providing quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance to nursing staff as needed.
- Support patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs to ensure patient stability.
- Assist in the transportation of patients to different areas as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns and provide information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification as a nursing assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
