The Patient Care Technician is responsible for managing patient flow, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe healthcare environment. They assist providers by obtaining vital signs, documenting patient history in the EHR, and facilitating the registration and payment process. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and basic computer and math skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are required to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
