Job description
The Patient Care Technician operates in a dual capacity, engaging in both clerical and administrative responsibilities as a unit secretary as well as providing direct care to patients. Key duties encompass monitoring patients’ vital signs, supporting nursing personnel, ensuring cleanliness in patient environments, and overseeing departmental supplies. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification, with prior experience as a patient care technician or unit secretary being highly desirable. Additionally, candidates must obtain BLS certification within the first month of employment.
