The Patient Care Technician delivers hands-on patient care, assists with clinical procedures, and monitors patient status under the direction of licensed professionals. They also coordinate drug monitoring procedures and document patient activities within the electronic health record. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and a 75-hour CNA or CMA certification. Previous experience in healthcare or behavioral health is preferred, and a current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within three months.
