**Patient Care Technician**
The Patient Care Technician delivers direct, hands-on dialysis support to individuals suffering from end-stage renal disease, under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). Key duties involve observing and recording patient vital signs, ensuring proper maintenance of dialysis machinery, and engaging in teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare group. Applicants are required to have an accredited high school diploma or GED, and must be at ease in handling blood and medical apparatus. This position demands physical endurance for extended shifts and the ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
