Job description
**Patient Care Technician**
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting nursing personnel by handling assigned patient care duties, such as measuring vital signs and aiding with daily living activities. This position includes the responsibility of keeping the environment safe and clean while facilitating clear communication among the healthcare team. Ideal candidates will have 0-2 years of experience in an acute care environment or be actively pursuing a nursing degree. It is essential to obtain a Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment, with preference given to those with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) qualifications.
