Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in providing exceptional, patient-focused care within the healthcare environment. The PCT is responsible for a range of duties that support both patients and healthcare staff, ensuring a high standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Support patients by performing various clinical and non-clinical tasks.
- Assist in daily living activities for patients to enhance their comfort and care.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient management.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within patient care areas.
Qualifications
- Preferred candidates will have prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician.
- Required certification includes Basic Life Support training.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.
- Ability to work full-time during the day shift, specifically from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
