The Patient Escort plays a vital role in the secure transportation of patients to different areas of the hospital, utilizing wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds. This role also involves the delivery of clinic records and the upkeep of departmental equipment, all while adhering to safety and privacy regulations. While formal education is not mandatory, a high school diploma is preferred. Applicants are required to obtain Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of their start date and should have fundamental computer and communication abilities.
