**Patient Financial Counselor**
The Patient Financial Counselor evaluates the financial requirements of patients and helps them with applications for government programs and financial aid. This role also involves offering cost estimates and acting as a bridge between patients, the preauthorization team, and clinical departments. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in healthcare, revenue cycle management, case management, or social work. A high school diploma is mandatory, while a bachelor’s degree in a related area is favored.
