Job Summary
The Telesitter role involves the ongoing observation and monitoring of designated patients to guarantee their safety. This position is critical in managing and preventing at-risk behaviors through verbal intervention and alerting nursing staff when additional support is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Continuously observe and monitor telesitter patients to ensure their well-being.
- Verbally redirect patients who exhibit behaviors that may pose a risk to their safety.
- Notify nursing personnel promptly when further assistance is needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in an acute care or direct healthcare setting.
- Strong ability to monitor patients effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with the nursing team.
