Job Summary
The Patient Sitter is responsible for offering continuous direct oversight and observation of patients to ensure their safety and well-being. This role involves collaborating with the nursing team by monitoring patient conditions, upholding a secure environment, and promptly reporting any changes or issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Provide constant observation of patients to guarantee their safety and comfort.
- Assist nursing personnel by monitoring patient statuses and reporting any concerns.
- Maintain a secure and safe environment for patients at all times.
- Promptly communicate any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience is necessary; experience as a CNA or similar observer role is preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification is mandatory.
