Job Summary
The Director of Rehabilitation Therapy is responsible for overseeing the Therapy Services Department, managing personnel, and ensuring that programs are effective in delivering high-quality care to patients. This role involves working closely with hospital leadership and medical staff to create clinical programs and maintain adherence to CARF certification standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Therapy Services Department staff.
- Oversee and assess the effectiveness of therapy programs ensuring optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with medical staff and hospital leadership to develop new clinical programs.
- Ensure compliance with CARF certification standards.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.
- At least three years of management experience in an inpatient rehabilitation context.
