The Payroll Accountant plays a vital role in managing payroll operations by executing transactions, computing salaries, and guaranteeing precision in deductions and withholdings. Additionally, this position involves reconciling payroll liability accounts, creating journal entries, and upholding precise employee records in the HRIS. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a comparable discipline. A minimum of three years of experience in payroll utilizing an automated accounting system is essential.
