Job Summary
The Payroll and Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing the payroll processing and benefits administration to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational standards. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the financial operations related to employee compensation and benefits management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll and benefits.
- Analyze payroll data and generate reports for management review.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits issues.
- Implement and maintain payroll systems and procedures for efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR to streamline benefits enrollment and communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in payroll management and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll and benefits.
