Job Summary
The Personal Care Assistant plays a crucial role in aiding clients with their daily living activities. This includes providing support for personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation, and helping with mobility needs. The position requires maintaining a safe and clean environment, ensuring accurate documentation of provided services, and promptly reporting any changes in the clients’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as hygiene and grooming.
- Help prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Provide mobility assistance to clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a secure and safe living environment for clients.
- Document all services rendered and monitor any significant changes in clients’ conditions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving is required.
- Must possess current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- A high school diploma is necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check.
