Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering both direct and indirect patient care. This position supports nursing personnel during the admission process, contributing to the overall patient experience and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report patient symptoms and changes in conditions.
- Follow HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist in safely transporting patients to various departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid BLS certification must be maintained at all times.
- Preferred candidates will have experience as a CNA, EMT, or have completed applicable medical training courses.
