Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric ICU Nurse to join our team, providing exceptional care for critically ill children in a high-intensity environment. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to deliver comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the health status of critically ill pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
- Educate families on procedures, treatments, and ongoing care requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with specialization in Pediatric Critical Care.
- Experience in a pediatric intensive care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and competence.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a must.
