Job Summary
The role involves delivering personalized one-on-one therapy sessions tailored for children, with a focus on those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This position requires the therapist to engage in assessments, work alongside a multidisciplinary team, and ensure meticulous documentation utilizing OpenEMR software.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized therapy sessions for children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the needs and progress of each child.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and evaluations in OpenEMR.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid license or be eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- A strong commitment to pediatric care and experience working with children on the autism spectrum is essential.
