Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering expert patient care throughout all stages of the surgical process: before, during, and after procedures within an ambulatory surgery facility. This role is vital for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assess the needs of patients to provide appropriate interventions.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgical environment.
- Current certifications in CPR and ACLS/PALS are mandatory.
