Job Summary
The pharmacist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services to patients. This includes the preparation and dispensing of medications, offering advice and guidance to patients, and working in partnership with the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Furthermore, the pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining adherence to industry regulations, and acting as a reliable source of drug information for both patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide counseling and support to patients regarding their medications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Serve as a trusted resource for drug-related inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.
- Manage operational tasks within the pharmacy to guarantee smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- A diploma from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Valid Pharmacist License issued in Arizona.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Possession of a Level I fingerprint clearance card.
