Job Summary
The Pharmacy Warehouse Fulfillment Technician plays a critical role in the pharmacy by executing fulfillment, inventory management, and quality assurance tasks under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. This position is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation, labeling, and staging of prescriptions, while also adhering to compliance regulations during the shipping process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and labeling of prescriptions.
- Stage medications efficiently for distribution.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to pharmacy operations.
- Ensure all processes comply with regulatory standards for medication shipment.
- Support inventory management tasks within the pharmacy warehouse.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid Pharmacy Technician license must be held.
- National Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) is necessary.
- Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Familiarity with home infusion medications is advantageous.
