The Phlebotomist plays a key role in executing venipuncture procedures, obtaining laboratory specimens, and ensuring proper processing that adheres to safety and quality standards. In addition, they are tasked with entering orders, managing lab equipment upkeep, and delivering outstanding service to patients. Applicants should hold a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a phlebotomy certification or comparable experience in a medical environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with EMR systems are advantageous.
