Job Summary
The Phlebotomist I is tasked with the collection of various specimens, such as drug screens and biometric assessments, while ensuring that all logs and records are maintained accurately. This role also encompasses duties that do not involve direct patient interaction, including managing inventory, entering data, and ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect specimens, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
- Maintain precise logs and records of collected specimens.
- Perform non-patient facing tasks, such as inventory management and data entry.
- Sanitize and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- State phlebotomy license, where required.
- Preferred: at least one year of experience in phlebotomy.
- Preferred: training as a medical assistant or paramedic.
