Collect quality blood samples from patients of all ages using appropriate phlebotomy methods, and respond rapidly to medical emergencies. Accurately identify patients and label, handle, and transport specimens while supporting patients and healthcare colleagues, answering phones, and assisting with training. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; phlebotomy experience and experience in a medical field are preferred. Applicants need strong customer service, communication, computer, prioritization, and time-management skills, and Phlebotomist II applicants must hold an eligible professional certification.
