Job Summary
The Phlebotomist II plays a crucial role in gathering and processing patient specimens while adhering to set safety and clinical guidelines. This position requires meticulous record-keeping, inventory management, and delivering exceptional customer service when confirming electronic orders.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process patient specimens in compliance with safety and clinical standards.
- Maintain precise laboratory logs and records.
- Oversee inventory management within the laboratory.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist in verifying electronic orders.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in phlebotomy, with a focus on pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Strong data entry skills and the capability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
