Job description
**Phlebotomist**
The role of the phlebotomist involves the precise collection of blood and other specimens through venipuncture or micro-collection methods for lab testing. Additionally, they conduct point-of-care tests, manage patient throughput, and uphold quality assurance standards for laboratory equipment. Applicants should have a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with a phlebotomy certification or a minimum of one year of pertinent healthcare experience. A solid understanding of medical terminology and experience with EMR systems are advantageous.
