Job Summary
The Physiatrist will deliver specialized medical services focused on electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) for patients suffering from work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. This role will also involve close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to manage intricate patient cases and support the rehabilitation process towards optimal functionality.
Responsibilities
- Administer EMGs and NCS for diagnosing work-related injuries.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address complex patient needs.
- Facilitate functional restoration and rehabilitation planning.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited MD or DO program.
- Board certification or qualifications in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Possession of an unrestricted DEA license.
- Active medical malpractice insurance coverage.
