Job Summary
The Staff Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in assessing, designing, and implementing tailored physical therapy programs aimed at enhancing patient functionality and reducing discomfort. This position also involves overseeing support staff and ensuring precise patient record-keeping while modifying treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and administer customized treatment plans that focus on pain relief and functional recovery.
- Supervise and provide guidance to support personnel in the therapeutic process.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation related to patient care.
- Adjust treatment approaches as necessary to ensure the highest levels of benefit for patients.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Possession of a valid state license issued by the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
- Demonstrated physical capabilities to stand, walk, lift, and transfer patients effectively throughout the workday.
