Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional therapy services that encompass conducting patient evaluations, developing and executing treatment plans, as well as managing discharge planning. This role also involves offering clinical leadership and supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians to promote effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
- Oversee and supervise the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations in healthcare delivery.
- Manage the discharge process for patients, ensuring a transition to home or another care setting is smooth and effective.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a Physical Therapy program accredited by the APTA.
- Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills and proficiency in therapy techniques.
- Ability to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
