Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant plays a vital role in delivering physical therapy services to elderly patients and clients, working under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The primary objective is to enhance clients’ functional independence through effective therapy interventions.
Responsibilities
- Execute delegated therapy treatment procedures as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and execute comprehensive care plans.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Possession of a valid license to practice in Nebraska.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in geriatric care.
- Valid driver’s license and CPR certification are required.
