Job Summary
The role involves delivering direct therapeutic care to patients within their residences as guided by a plan developed by a physical therapist. This position emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers to ensure effective monitoring of patient progress along with precise documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to patients in their home setting.
- Work closely with physical therapists to follow and adapt care plans for each patient.
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to assess and support patient recovery.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of patient treatment and progress.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current and active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
- Must have auto insurance coverage for driving responsibilities.
