Job description
The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for delivering tailored physical therapy interventions and guiding patients through therapeutic exercises as directed by a Physical Therapist. This role also involves tracking patient progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and working alongside the nursing staff to promote a safe care environment. Applicants must have an associate degree from a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant program and a valid Michigan PTA license. A current CPR/BLS certification is also necessary, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
