Job Summary
The Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various physical ailments and mobility issues. This role may offer flexibility in working hours, accommodating both full-time and part-time schedules to meet the needs of the practice and its clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical capabilities and needs.
- Create personalized treatment plans that address the specific functional and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve movement and alleviate pain.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress throughout their therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.
