Job Summary
The role involves assessing children’s capabilities and development, setting achievable objectives, and modifying treatment strategies as necessary. The professional will ensure comprehensive documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress within the electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the abilities and development of children.
- Establish attainable goals for treatment.
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on progress evaluations.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress meticulously in electronic medical records.
- Prepare detailed reports related to treatment and outcomes.
- Maintain confidential records in accordance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Active physical therapy licensure and/or certification in New York State.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and computer systems.
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
