Job description
The Physical Therapy Assistant delivers hands-on patient care and offers training to caregivers while working under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist. They also take on the responsibility of keeping precise records and assisting with various departmental tasks. Applicants should have completed a program endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association or accredited by CAPTE. A current Physical Therapy Assistant license for California and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association are necessary at the time of hiring.
