Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, aiming to improve patient mobility and alleviate discomfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services following the treatment plans established by the supervising physical therapist.
- Document clinical notes accurately and maintain thorough records of patient progress.
- Communicate any changes in the patient’s condition or response to therapy to the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Must possess an Associate’s degree from an accredited program for physical therapy assistants.
- A valid state license as a physical therapy assistant is required.
- Must have a current driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory.
