Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team, either on a full-time or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering high-quality rehabilitative services to patients under the guidance of licensed physical therapists. This role is vital in enhancing the recovery process and promoting optimal physical health for patients.
Responsibilities
- Support physical therapists in administering treatment plans for patients.
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
- Educate patients on proper techniques and safety measures during therapy sessions.
Qualifications
- Certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
