Job Summary
The role of the PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR NURSE PRACTITIONER based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, involves providing high-quality medical care at the OIC Family Medical Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This position requires professional expertise in patient assessment and treatment, ensuring all healthcare services meet established standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as necessary.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active and valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
