Job Summary
The physician plays a vital role in delivering medical care and treatment to patients as part of the hospice interdisciplinary team. They are integral in ensuring that high-quality care standards are met while also contributing to the clinical education of staff and volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive medical care and treatment to hospice patients.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and the hospice team to coordinate patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members and volunteers.
- Participate in clinical education initiatives to enhance care standards.
- Ensure adherence to high-quality standards in end-of-life care.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed physician (MD/DO).
- Demonstrated strong clinical expertise in hospice and palliative care.
- Proven commitment to the standards of end-of-life care.
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
