Job Summary
The role involves delivering anesthesia and sedation services within the operating room as well as in various outpatient settings for a diverse range of pediatric surgical and medical specialties. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons and other specialists.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and sedation for pediatric patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures.
- Work cohesively with pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons and a team of subspecialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize nerve blocks as necessary in the provision of anesthesia services.
Qualifications
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) as a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist.
- Demonstrated experience in administering nerve blocks is mandatory.
