Job Summary
The Plant Operator I is a critical role within the Facilities Maintenance department, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of plant systems at the Getty Center. This position is a regular full-time role based in Lynwood, California.
Responsibilities
- Operate low and/or high-pressure steam boilers effectively.
- Monitor and maintain boiler systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Assist with the routine maintenance and inspections of central plant systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in operating steam boilers.
- Basic knowledge of central plant operations.
